.For many of us, most of our work entails gathering information, collaborating with others, making decisions and executing them.
Such human-centric business processes are unstructured by nature, change on the fly and never flow exactly the same way twice.
The more importance people play in business processes to ensure their success, the more those processes provide strategic value and competitive advantage. In fact, the processes that make an organization unique are those in which people engage in negotiations that produce inventive, creative, unique solutions for business opportunities or business problems.
But existing software solutions either impose too much structure, and the inflexibility drives people back to email/phone or they don’t handle structure at all and fail to deliver the flexibility that is innate to human work.
You also see some companies trying to develop their own solutions, using separate web 2.0 tools, but as each tool has its own logic, interface, users, notification and search capabilities, users get frustrated and soon they need to find a specialized external supplier (the video clip illustrates that reality).
Business leaders feel the need to adopt new management tools that offer an unprecedented level of flexibility and adaptability – a new layer of Collaborative Business Software solutions – where the speed and flexibility of unstructured collaboration must combine with the discipline of synchronized control to efficiently respond to changing business conditions.
That’s where we can help you: radically improving the way people collaborate and execute their business processes at your organization, making Collaborative Business Software work for you.
